Settings reference

Each tab in SystemSculpt’s settings pane groups related options. Use this guide to jump straight to the controls you need.

Tabs at a glance

Account
Activate your license, review credits and usage, and open support links.
  • The Activate button checks your SystemSculpt license and surfaces any issues immediately.
  • Credits & usage shows the balance and recent metered operations for your account.
  • Billing, documentation, and support links stay together on this tab.
Chat
Set display, history, and accessibility preferences for Chat.
  • Choose the defaults that apply when you open a new chat.
  • Control how streamed markdown, code blocks, and tables appear.
  • Keep chat history and accessibility preferences close to the composer.
Workflow
Configure recording, SystemSculpt transcription, and vault automations.
  • Choose your microphone, transcript folder, and whether original recordings are kept.
  • New recordings and imported audio use the same SystemSculpt transcription service.
  • Enable and run built-in workflow automations from one place.
Knowledge
Manage semantic search and related-note discovery for your vault.
  • The rebuild action refreshes vectors through the SystemSculpt embeddings service.
  • Folder and file exclusions control what can appear in Similar Notes.
  • Index status shows when background processing is running or needs attention.
Workspace
Control SystemSculpt folders, settings backups, and restore actions.
  • Defaults include folders such as SystemSculpt/Chats and SystemSculpt/Recordings.
  • Use workspace repair if a required folder was removed or renamed outside the plugin.
  • Backups protect client-side settings and can be restored from this tab.
Studio
Open Studio and manage project storage and retention.
  • Studio and its portable nodes work in desktop and mobile Obsidian.
  • Choose the default vault folder for new .systemsculpt projects.
  • Set the completed-run limit and artifact storage target for each project.
Advanced
Manage editor utilities, resets, and diagnostics.
  • Turn relative editor line numbers on or off.
  • Reset client settings when you need a clean local configuration.
  • Copy a diagnostics snapshot or open the vault diagnostics folder for support.

Power-user workflow

  • Use the search box at the top of the settings pane to jump straight to any control.
  • Changes save instantly, so you can move between tabs without losing your place.
  • Keep license and usage controls in Account. Vault and workflow preferences stay on their own tabs.
Heads-upSystemSculpt manages AI service credentials and routing. The settings pane contains only account, vault, workflow, display, and diagnostic choices.
