Your HTML. In Markdown.
Drop an HTML file or paste HTML, and get clean Markdown to copy or save as a note in your Obsidian vault.

Drop an HTML file here.
A saved web page or any .html file. PDF and Word files work too.
What it keeps
Clean Markdown, ready for Obsidian.
One note, with the structure you can see in the file.
- Structure
- Headings, lists, tables, quotes and code blocks, with their language, become Markdown.
- The article only
- From a saved web page, the menus, sidebars, footers and edit links are left out.
- Links and images
- Links keep their address. Images with a web address stay as Markdown images.
In your vault
Put AI to work on the note.
SystemSculpt saves every chat in Obsidian as a Markdown note, and Claude Code, Codex or our hosted AI can read and edit your notes there.

Questions.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The file is read and converted in your browser and isn’t uploaded or stored.
How do I save a web page as HTML?
In Chrome, choose File, Save Page As, then Webpage, HTML Only. Drop the saved file here.
Which tables and code blocks carry over?
Tables become Markdown tables, which Obsidian shows as tables. A one-row table used for page layout becomes plain text. Code blocks keep their language when the page names it.
Does it cost anything?
No. It’s free, with no account and no sign-up.
