## You
I have three days in Lisbon in May. What should I see?
## ChatGPT
### Day one
Walk Alfama and climb to the castle.
### Day two
Belém for the tower and the pastries.
## You
Can you add a day trip to Sintra?
## ChatGPT
Take the train from Rossio to Sintra on day three and see Pena Palace.
New chats
Keep the next ones in your vault.
SystemSculpt saves every chat in Obsidian as a Markdown note, with Claude Code, Codex or our hosted AI.

Questions.
Is my export uploaded?
No. The file is converted in your browser and isn’t uploaded.
Which files work?
The zip that ChatGPT or Claude emails you, or the conversations.json inside it.
What happens to edited messages?
ChatGPT keeps every version of an edited or regenerated message. Each note follows the branch you last had on screen. Claude notes follow the newest message.
Are images included?
Images and files in a ChatGPT export go into an attachments folder and show in their notes. A Claude export lists file names only, so the notes do too.
Can Claude Code or Codex run it?
Yes. The converter is one file with no dependencies. With Node 22 or later:
node chat-export-to-markdown.mjs export.zip ~/VaultDoes it cost anything?
No. It’s free, with no account.
