Questions.
How do I save it as a PDF?
Choose Save as PDF. Your browser’s print window opens with the document alone; pick Save as PDF as the destination (in Chrome and Edge it’s under Destination, on a Mac it’s the PDF button) and save.
Can I make a PDF on an iPhone or iPad?
Yes. Choose Save as PDF to open the print options, then tap the Share button at the top of them and choose Save to Files.
Why is the text in my PDF selectable?
Because the browser prints the document as text, not as a picture of it. You can search the PDF, copy from it and click its links.
Does it work with Obsidian notes?
Yes. Paste a note or open its .md file. Callouts, highlights, tables and task lists print formatted; an embed prints the name of what it embeds, since the rest of the vault isn’t here.
Is my file uploaded?
No. The PDF is made by your browser from the text on this page, and the file isn’t uploaded or stored.
Does it cost anything?
No. It’s free, with no account and no sign-up.
